Sheraiah and James chose to receive their prenatal care from Promise Community Health Center, a trusted provider of home birth services in Sioux Center, Iowa. Promise’s team of three certified nurse midwives – Audra De Groot, Kari Ney, and Jeannette Hasley – along with registered nurses, medical assistants, and interpreters, provided exceptional care and support throughout Anastasia’s journey into the world.
The home birth took place in the Lynch’s welcoming home, with Certified Nurse Midwife Audra DeGroot and OB Nurse Beth Marsh providing expert guidance and assistance. Miss Anastasia Grace was born into a nurturing environment surrounded by her loved ones.
At Anastasia’s home birth, the focus was on empowering the family and providing a safe, supportive environment for the baby’s arrival. Congratulations to the Lynch family on this beautiful home birth experience!

Sheraiah and James said their favorite part of the prenatal checkups experience was hearing their baby’s heartbeat and seeing her in ultrasounds! During labor and delivery, they loved having the support of their family there and seeing their daughter’s beautiful face for the first time.

Patients must be located within 60 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
