Promise Community Health Center believes you should understand your medications and vaccinations, be able to obtain them affordably, and ask any questions that you may have. Promise’s Clinical Pharmacy is an essential program to achieve this. Your care team includes a Clinical Pharmacist who will provide support in understanding your health and medications.

Our Promise Community Health Center Clinical Pharmacist counsels patients with information regarding medication dosage, administration and side effects. Our Pharmacist also provides information and education regarding herbal supplements and over-the-counter medications, as well as education and information regarding disease states like diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.

DRUG INFORMATION QUESTIONS
Our Promise Community Health Center Clinical Pharmacist researches both staff and patient drug information questions utilizing up to date information to find answers. Our Pharmacist also answers questions and information relating to vaccinations.

MEDICATION DISCOUNTS
We realize medications can be expensive. Our staff is trained in available resources for patients to receive discounted medications through working with pharmacies, pharmaceutical patient assistance programs, and vouchers. We also have a selection of medications at our health center available for $4 through the Iowa Drug Repository Program (IDRP).
