The Feauto’s received their prenatal care for Baby Norah from Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Lassen at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Erica Robertson part of the home birth team from Promise.
Mark and Chelsey opened their home for Miss Norah’s home birth in Spencer, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Lassen and OB Nurse Erica Robertson helped deliver Norah Christine during the birth at their home.
Norah was welcomed into the family by big brothers Malachi (3) and Truett (1 1/2)!
The Feauto Family Promise Experience.
During the prenatal visits the Feauto’s felt more secure in their decision for a home birth as they spoke with Midwife Belinda Lassen. She reassured a nervous dad that mom and babe would be well taken care of and gave them the confidence they needed to proceed with their home birth! Labor and delivery at home was amazing as Chelsey felt supported and encouraged as labor intensified. She loved being able to move and be free to labor how she wanted in her own home. Also it was such a blessing to experience childbirth the way God intended it to be! After Miss Norah Christine was born it was amazing to be given the time and space they needed to marvel at the blessing she was and stand in awe of the accomplishment of her birth!

Our Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
