Promise Community Health Center is excited to announce that Kailee Jenness, LMSW, has stepped into a new role as a Mental Health Therapist. Kailee has been an integral part of the Promise team since 2021, and her transition into this position marks an important step in expanding mental health services for our communities.

A Journey Rooted in Service
Originally from Spirit Lake, IA, Kailee joined Promise in August 2021 as a social worker after earning her degree from Northwestern College. Over the years, she has played a vital role in evaluating social determinants of health, connecting patients with essential resources, and collaborating with the Promise team to ensure comprehensive care. Her dedication to holistic, patient-centered service led her to pursue a Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Trauma from the University of Northern Iowa.
Now, as a licensed mental health therapist, Kailee will be able to offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, drawing on techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Experiencing Therapy.
I am thrilled to be able to serve patients in this new role as a therapist. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to support our community and patients in their life journeys and provide a space for patients to grow and heal.– Kailee Jenness - Mental Health Therapist
Expanding Mental Health Services
Kailee’s new role will allow her to provide deeper, more specialized mental health support to patients. One of the aspects she is most excited about is the opportunity to offer therapy in both English and Spanish, making mental health care more accessible to Spanish-speaking individuals in our community.

Commitment to Promise’s Mission
Kailee has been drawn to Promise’s mission from the very beginning. “Promise consistently evaluates the needs of patients and adapts services to fit those needs as best as possible. I love how patient-oriented Promise is, and I am ecstatic to continue to be part of the team.”
With Kailee stepping into this new role, Promise Community Health Center reaffirms its commitment to providing accessible, compassionate, and high-quality mental health services for all.
Congratulations, Kailee! We are excited to see the impact you will continue to make in our community.
