After years of serving children, families, and individuals across northwest Iowa, Jeremy Koerselman, LISW, Registered Play Therapist, is excited to join the Mental Health Team at Promise Community Health Center!

As a lifelong resident of Sioux Center, Jeremy is passionate about supporting the community he calls home. His career has been dedicated to helping children and families navigate life’s challenges through compassionate, relationship-centered mental health care.
Jeremy most recently co-owned All Things New Therapy in Orange City, where he provided individual counseling, mental health therapy, and clinical supervision. Before that, he served as a children’s therapist at Creative Living Center in Rock Valley and Lewis and Clark Behavioral Health Services in Yankton, South Dakota, building years of experience helping children, teens, and families strengthen their emotional well-being.
In addition to his professional experience, Jeremy has remained deeply involved in the community. He has served on the board of Northwest Early Childhood Iowa for several years and volunteers each summer at Royal Family KIDS Camp, a camp dedicated to creating positive experiences for children in foster care.
Jeremy has known about Promise Community Health Center since its founding and has long admired its mission to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare for everyone.
I’m excited to be part of a team that works collaboratively to support the many needs of individuals and families. Promise’s integrated approach to care allows us to look at the whole person and connect patients with the services they need.– Jeremy Koerselman - Registered Play and Mental Health Therapist
At Promise Community Health Center, Jeremy will provide individual counseling, child and adolescent therapy, play therapy, family support, and mental health services for patients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional challenges, and other mental health concerns. He looks forward to working alongside Promise’s integrated healthcare team to ensure patients receive compassionate, coordinated care that supports both their mental and physical health.
I hope to bring optimism, intentionality, and maybe even a little silliness and playfulness. Sometimes healing begins when people feel safe enough to laugh, play, and simply be themselves.– Jeremy Koerselman - Registered Play and Mental Health Therapist

With decades of experience, a heart for children and families, and a passion for strengthening the community he has always called home, Jeremy is excited to begin serving patients at Promise Community Health Center.
Please join us in welcoming Jeremy Koerselman to the Promise Community Health Center team!
