Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa is pleased to announce the acquisition of a grant for prenatal multivitamins from Vitamin Angels. Promise can supply multivitamins as well as informational materials, videos, and vitamin tracking. Promise is excited to share these vitamins and education with our patients!
Vitamins and minerals are very beneficial for pregnant women. A daily multivitamin is an excellent way for pregnant women to meet this need, since many women do not get enough nutrients just from their food alone. The sooner a pregnant women begins taking a multivitamin, the greater impact the vitamins and minerals can have both on her health and the health of her child.
Vitamin Angels provides grants of vitamins and supplementary materials to local healthcare providers around the world. Vitamin Angels seeks to reduce infant mortality rates by providing for underserved communities.
