Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa is pleased to announce the acquisition of a grant for prenatal multivitamins from Vitamin Angels. Promise can supply multivitamins as well as informational materials, videos, and vitamin tracking. Promise is excited to share these vitamins and education with our patients!
Pregnant women have an increased need for vitamins and minerals. A daily multivitamin is an excellent way to meet this need, since many women don’t get enough nutrients through food alone. The earlier in pregnancy a woman begins taking a multivitamin, the greater the impact the vitamins and minerals can have on her health and the health of her child.
Vitamin Angels provides grants of vitamins and supplementary materials to local healthcare providers around the world. Vitamin Angels seeks to reduce infant mortality rates by providing for underserved communities.
