Theresa Buley brings “an enthusiastic and genuine love to help others” to Promise Community Health Center.
She has assumed the role of dental coordinator at the health center.
“I have a passion to help people – working with others to help them achieve their goals,” she said. “I desire to do good for others, and I think Promise is committed to that as well.”
Theresa grew up in St. James, MN, and attended St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. She then served as a quality analyst at Carlson Marketing Group in Plymouth, MN, 1998-2006; church services director for Youth Encounter in Roseville, MN, 2006-07; donor services director for The Salvation Army in Roseville, 2007-17; and office manager at Town & Country Implement in Rock Valley, IA, 2017-18.
She’s now happy to be at Promise, where she helps to oversee the dental program to ensure efficient workflow and comprehensive services to Promise’s patients.
“I hope to help grow and already wonderful organization,” she said.

Theresa Buley and her husband, Matthew, live in Rock Valley. They have four children who they adopted in 2007 from the Philippines: Remir, 25; MaryJoy, 22; Mark, 21; and Raymund, 19, a senior at Rock Valley High School. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family; camping, hiking and kayaking; playing board games and doing puzzles; and jogging.
