The 9th annual Festival Latino will take place on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at Orange City’s Windmill Park. The event brings out hundreds of people to the heart of Orange City. This year, the event will take place on a Saturday to include more events throughout the day. Festival Latino will kick off the day with an untimed 5k run or a one-mile fun walk to raise funds for the DREAMers Foundation. The DREAMers Foundation strives to provide financial support to DREAMers pursuing higher education. Other festival activities will include authentic Latin cuisine, a fun interactive kids’ zone featuring free face painting, crafts, activities, and live music.
Martha Draayer, chair of the Festival Latino planning committee, says Festival Latino has been a community-wide effort to bring neighbors together to share and celebrate their Latino culture. Everyone is welcome!
Festival Latino is dedicated to connecting the community to the resources available to them. Promise Community Health Center is excited to host an informational booth from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Stop by to say hello and learn more about what Promise has to offer!
