My first visit with Kari Ney, I came in and I was probably pretty anxious, I had a lot of questions about menopause and just kind of how I was feeling and I will say that just meeting with her and her team I just felt really comfortable and at the end of my visit. I just had this sense like Kari had me, she would take care of me. After I was diagnosed with breast cancer, Kari introduced me to Tara Vyn. My first appointment with Tara, was also kind of nerve-wracking just because I just really didn’t grow up in a home that really was very nutritional based.  My mom was really young and that’s just not something that I learned a lot about. Meeting with Tara though has really opened my eyes.

My Promise Providers:

They always hear me and listen, but obviously we’ve just journeyed through a lot together. When I started coming to see Kari, who would have known that in a few short months that I would be on a breast cancer journey? I just feel like through that whole journey, because you know it wasn’t just getting through the breast cancer because now we’re dealing with all these crazy meds and all the side effects and Kari is just really willing to put your head down with me and plow through. Those are just times that I’m just really grateful for!

I appreciate my health care team:

It’s important to have a heath care team, that works together as a team because when you are going through harder diagnosis like breast cancer, it takes a TEAM to cover all the different aspects. I feel like they are very open to, not only medicine but also natural things. I feel like Kari really listens to me as sometimes I am really open to natural and sometimes I am like can I try a med for that.

Tara is really willing to even go and talk to your pharmacist. What do you see with that med and what can we do? I know some people feel like if I ask for a med, I just want to be medicated all the time, and that is not true. Sometimes a supplement will work just fine.

I just feel really heard by the two of you, to consider all types of medicine and I appreciate that about your team as well!
