William and Rachel chose to receive their prenatal care from Promise Community Health Center, a trusted provider of home birth services in Sioux Center, Iowa. Promise’s team of three certified nurse midwives – Audra De Groot, Kari Ney, and Jeannette Hasley – along with registered nurses, medical assistants, and interpreters, provided exceptional care and support throughout Peter’s journey into the world.
The home birth took place in the Klok’s welcoming home, with Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg providing expert guidance and assistance. Mr. Peter John was born into a nurturing environment surrounded by his loved ones.
Peter is also welcomed by big brothers Gerrit (9), Wade (7), Miles (5), Charles (4), and Nathan (1).
At Peter’s home birth, the focus was on empowering the family and providing a safe, supportive environment for the baby’s arrival. Congratulations to the Klok family on this beautiful home birth experience!
