Hope and Elijah received their prenatal care for Miss Diana Rose from Certified Nurse Midwives Kari Ney and Jeannette Hasley at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg, part of the home birth team from Promise. Promise Community Health Center Prenatal/OB team includes three certified nurse midwives, Audra De Groot, Kari Ney, and Jeannette Hasley, registered nurses, medical assistants, and interpreters.
Hope and Elijah opened their home for Diana’s home birth in Sioux City, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwives Kari Ney and Jeannette Hasley and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Miss Diana during the birth at their home.

Promise Community Health Center is the only facility in the northwest Iowa area that offers the opportunity to have an assisted birth in your home with a Certified Nurse Midwife. Our Iowa Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 60 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
