Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Laasen of Promise Community Health Center of Sioux Center, IA, provided the prenatal care and delivery services for the family throughout the pregnancy and attended the home birth.
Larkin was welcomed into the family by big brothers, Jagger and Crew and grandparents Scott and Amy Sieperda and Greg and Sherri De Jong both of Rock Rapids, Iowa.
De Jongs had the most amazing experience with Belinda at their home birth! It was a blessing being able to labor and deliver in the comfort of their home. The care they received throughout their pregnancy and birth was exceptional and they are grateful for the experience.

Our Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
