Mollie & Brandt received their prenatal care for Theos from Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg part of the home birth team from Promise.
Brandt & Mollie opened their home for Theos’s home birth in Sioux City, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Theos during the birth at their home.
Theos was welcomed into the family by a big brother!

Promise Midwifery Team
Promise Community Health Center is the only facility in the northwest Iowa area that offers the opportunity to have an assisted birth in your home with Certified Nurse Midwives. Our Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
