Jess and Travis received their prenatal care for Carter from Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Snyder family opened their home for Carter’s home birth in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Carter during the birth at their home.
Carter Joseph was welcomed into the family by big sister Sienna (4).

Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
