Jaron and Elizabeth received their prenatal care for Maya Faye Rose from Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Lassen at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Erica Robertson, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Wilsons opened their home for Maya’s home birth in Paulina, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Lassen and OB Nurse Erica Robertson helped deliver Miss Maya during the birth at their home.
Miss Maya Faye Rose was welcomed into the family by two excited big brothers, Walter (4) and Peter (2)!

Jaron and Elizabeth were thrilled to have their prenatal visits and home birth for their third babe with Promise Midwife Belinda Lassen. Their two boys were also delivered by Belinda! Elizabeth’s favorite moment from her home delivery was holding baby Maya and recalling the excellent care she received from Belinda and Erica during and after delivery making her feel much better after Maya’s labor was done. The Wilson family have loved introducing Miss Maya to all their friends and family!

Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
