Jen and Ryan received their prenatal care for Miss Leah from Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Lassen at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Zomer family opened their home for Leah’s home birth in Orange City, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Lassen and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Miss Leah Grace during the birth at their home.
Leah was welcomed into the family by big brothers, Dalton (11) and Isaac (6) and big sister, Tyra (10).

Our Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
