Thomas and Justine received their prenatal care for Miss Brooklyn from Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Weir family opened their home for Brooklyn’s home birth in Sioux City, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Miss Brooklyn Nicole during the birth at their home.
Brooklyn was welcomed into the family by big sisters Peyton (6) and Addison (3).

Thomas and Justine loved that their prenatal checkups were always personal and family centered as well as welcoming towards the entire family. For labor and delivery, the Weir family loved being in the comfort of their own home and having the older kids involved. They also said that Kris Tinklenberg and Kari Ney were very comforting!
