March is National Nutrition Month!
Our Nurse Health Coaches are always looking for ways to better help Promise patients make lifestyle changes to positively impact their health. Amanda Rickard, RN has found one such way, by becoming a Certified Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition.
Precision Nutrition is the #1 most recommended nutrition certification program in the world. This certification provides the skills to help coach our patients to deep wellness, improving their health outcomes now and in the long term. As a Certified Nutrition Coach, Amanda will be able to help patients break what can feel like big health goals down into small daily practices that add up to massive changes. This coaching focuses on developing health habits that become second nature that can last a lifetime.
As a Nutrition Coach, Amanda will facilitate the inclusion of health eating behaviors and empower her clients to take responsibility for their own health. She will mentor and lead patients toward a healthier lifestyle. Completion of the Precision Nutrition Certification arms Amanda with a knowledge of both nutritional science and behavior change strategies that will benefit patients at Promise for years to come.
This month during National Nutrition Month Amanda will be sharing four easy concepts that will help improve the nutrition of our patients and our community!
