Neftali has been able to evolve during her time at Promise Community Health Center serving in different roles and is now stepping into her new role as Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator!
While starting at Promise, Neftali was attending Northwestern College, pursuing a Public Relations, Translation and Interpretation degree, graduating in May 2022.
In the Summer of 2021, Neftali began at Promise as a Translating and Interpretation intern, and in the Summer of 2022, she took on a different role interning as a Marketing and Public Relations Assistant.
Neftali loved both experiences and was impressed with how much the interpreters cared about providing high-quality interpretation services and all the translation resources Promise has.
During her Public Relations internship, she was able to apply the skills she had been learning in college and was encouraged to be creative. Neftali loved being able to help with marketing tasks and coming up with new ideas for Promise to try.

During her schooling, Neftali got a taste of the marketing world by working as a Barista and Marketing Coordinator at Town Square Coffeehouse and Kitchen in Orange City. She ran their social media accounts, planned events, and established community partnerships. This experience was her first time working in marketing and she learned she loved everything about it.
Neftali’s eager to step into her new role as Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator.

In this new position, Neftali will be completing many tasks she was already completing but is given more responsibility and will be focusing more on community engagement. Over the past year and a half, Neftali has been able to see how much Promise has grown and can’t wait to see how much it continues to grow. She admires how much the team members care deeply about the work and services that are provided.
