Jenna’s journey at Promise began as a clinic nurse, working closely with Dr. Lassen to provide essential medical care. Over the course of four years, she became an integral part of the team, mastering various tasks such as rooming patients, administering vaccines, drawing blood, checking blood pressure, and helping with immigration physicals. This experience increased her medical knowledge and created a deep sense of teamwork.
In 2023, Jenna stepped into a new role at Promise as the OB supervisor, Women’s Health Coordinator. This transition marked a shift for her from caring for medical patients to mainly focusing on obstetrics patients. Now, her daily tasks revolve around promoting health and wellness, particularly supporting individuals during the journey of parenthood.
Jenna’s excitement about her new role is clear. As a passionate advocate of holistic wellness, she enjoys concentrating on preventive care. The ability to help women and men navigate the path to parenthood has become a fulfilling aspect of her daily work.
Saying yes to working at Promise was easy! They care about their employees and invest in them. The staff makes it an enjoyable environment. And the patients keep you coming back, and it’s so rewarding!– Jenna Wynia, OB Supervisor, Women’s Health Coordinator
Looking ahead, Jenna is optimistic about the future of Promise, especially the growth potential within the OB program. Having witnessed the organization nearly double in size since her arrival, she is enthusiastic about Promise’s ongoing success and the positive impact it continues to have on the community.
