Skyler and Eliza received their prenatal care for Miss Xiomara Tialli from Certified Nurse Midwife Audra De Groot at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Lopez Gries family opened their home for Xiomara’s home birth in Le Mars, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Audra De Groot and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Miss Xiomara Tialli during the birth at their home.

Skyler and Eliza were grateful for the genuine care and connection they received from Promise staff. During labor and delivery, Eliza said Skyler, Audra De Groot, and Kris Tinklenberg, did a good job of supporting and encouraging her. She loved having her family by her side and learning about how her body connects with the baby.

Our Iowa Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 60 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
