Eric and Sarah received their prenatal care for Erika from Certified Nurse Midwife Audra De Groot at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurses Kris Tinklenberg and Erica Robertson, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Bautistas opened their home for Erika Lea’s home birth in Inwood, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Audra De Groot and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Miss Erika Lea during the birth at their home.
Erika was welcomed into the family by big brother Oliver (11), big sisters Bella (5), and Jayne (1).

The Bautista Family Promise Experience
Eric and Sarah enjoyed the calm that came with being able to bring their baby into the world in their own home. They also said that Audra De Groot and Kris Tinklenberg were super amazing with them! Sarah loved being able to have her photographer, Emiley Kuehn with Studio802 Photography, there with her to capture the birth of Erika. She also appreciated being able to have her friend and chiropractor, Tiffany Armstrong, from Sioux Center Chiropractic with the family during the labor and delivery.
