Promise Community Health Center is excited to celebrate National Health Center week August 5th – 9th. As part of this week, Eastern Iowa Health Center will be leading a motorcycle ride to visit all 14 community health centers across the state of Iowa! The group will stop by Promise on Thursday, August 8th.
The goal is to collectively highlight the crucial role Iowa’s 14 health centers play in promoting health equity and providing essential care to our communities. The Iowa HERO Ride celebrates the incredible impact these centers have in Iowa and throughout the country.
This event takes place during National Health Center Week, August 5th – 9th, 2024 and the ride will start and end at Eastern Iowa Health Center in Cedar Rapids.
- Monday, August 5th: The ride will visit Community Health Care, Inc, Community Health Centers of Southeastern Iowa, Inc, and River Hills Community Health Center
- Tuesday, August 6th: Infinity Health, Proteus, Inc, Iowa Primary Care Association (PCA), and Primary Health Care Inc.
- Wednesday, August 7th: All Care Health Center and Siouxland Community Health Center
- Thursday, August 8th: Promise Community Health Center, United Community Health Center, and Community Health Center of Fort Dodge
- Friday, August 9th: Peoples Community Health Clinic and Crescent Community Health Center
The ride will travel over 1,000 miles to visit all the health centers and riders can register to ride all week or for only a day. It is $100 to participate for the week and $40 for a day.
