On June 27, 2022, Stacy Schaap embarked on a new chapter in her career by joining the team at Promise Community Health Center!
Her decision to join Promise CHC was fueled by a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in her community. Promise CHC, with its commitment to community care, offered her the ideal opportunity to fulfill this mission. What excites Stacy the most about working at Promise is the prospect of continual learning and the ability to expand the spectrum of care she can offer. The environment encourages professional growth, ensuring that she stays at the forefront of medical advancements to provide the highest quality care.

Stacy began her education at St. Luke’s College, where she earned her nursing degree. She then obtained a bachelor’s degree from Dordt University/Briar Cliff University. Stacy returned to school and aimed to broaden her reach by earning a master’s degree from Morningside University. This diverse educational experience has equipped Stacy with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare, enabling her to provide the best possible care to patients.
Collaboration is important to Promise CHC’s patient-centric approach. In Stacy’s role, each patient encounter involves seamless collaboration with medical assistants and nurses to streamline and increase accessibility to healthcare. Working hand-in-hand with midwives, health coaches, pharmacists, and other professionals allows her to address all aspects of patients’ needs.
