Tyson was welcomed into the world at home, by parents Bethany and Jeff Mootz. The Mootz family had a safe and empowering home birth experience in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, under the care of experienced Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurses Kris Tinklenberg and Beth Marsh.

Bethany and Jeff chose to receive their prenatal care from Promise Community Health Center, a trusted provider of home birth services in Sioux Center, Iowa. Promise’s team of three certified nurse midwives – Audra De Groot, Kari Ney, and Jeannette Hasley – along with registered nurses, medical assistants, and interpreters, provided exceptional care and support throughout Tyson’s journey into the world.
The home birth took place in the Mootz’s welcoming home, with Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurses Kris Tinklenberg and Beth Marsh providing expert guidance and assistance. Mr. Tyson was born into a nurturing environment surrounded by his loved ones.
Tyson is also welcomed by siblings Finney and Wilder.
At Tysons’s home birth, the focus was on empowering the mother and providing a safe and supportive environment for the baby’s arrival. Congratulations to the Mootz family on this beautiful home birth experience!
