Luke and Rachel received their prenatal care for the baby from Certified Nurse Midwives Kari Ney, Jeannette Halsey, and Audra De Groot at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Beth Marsh, part of the home birth team from Promise. Promise Community Health Center Prenatal/OB team includes three certified nurse midwives, Audra De Groot, Kari Ney, and Jeannette Hasley, registered nurses, medical assistants, and interpreters.
Luke and Rachel opened their home for the baby’s home birth in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Certified Nurse Midwives Kari Ney and Jeannette Halsey and OB Nurse Beth Marsh helped deliver the baby during the birth at their home.

Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 60 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
