Alex and Ellie received their prenatal care for Miss Ivy from Certified Nurse Midwife Audra De Groot at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Beth Marsh, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Davies family opened their home for Ivy’s home birth in Harrisburg, South Dakota. Certified Nurse Midwife Audra De Groot and OB Nurse Beth Marsh helped deliver Miss Ivy Marie during the birth at their home.
Ivy was welcomed into the family by big sisters Everly (4) and Oaklee (2).

Our Iowa Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 60 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
