WELCOME MISS BRIELLA JOY!
Briella is the daughter of Darren and Ashley Wielenga. The Wielenga’s gave birth to Briella at Sanford hospital in Sioux Falls.

• Weight: 6 lbs 12 oz.
• Length: 20 in long
Ashley and Darren received their prenatal care for Miss Briella from Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg part of the home birth team from Promise.
Miss Briella Joy was happily welcomed into the family by big sister Jayla (4) and big brother Tatum (2)!

Kari and Kris made us feel so welcome, heard and understood. They took the time to really listen to my concerns and answering all my questions. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.
Even though our labor and delivery did not go quite as we planned, Nurse Midwife Kari was so calm and helped us feel seen and heard in the decision to head to Sioux Falls. The transfer care was seamless and through it all we felt so very cared for.
The OB Team at Promise have truly become friends. At Briella’s first check up it was so great to check in and catch up.
