Our Promise Community Health Midwifery Team offers care that is tailored to the needs of your growing family and is designed to support you through the changes you will experience throughout your life.

Midwives are highly-trained health care professionals who provide many health care options for women. Our Certified Nurse Midwives offer services including fertility counseling, birth control counseling, gynecologic exams, breast exams, prenatal care, home-birth delivery, postpartum care and more.
Promise Community Health Center’s OB/Women’s Health Team is committed to providing compassionate, personalized care throughout every stage of pregnancy and beyond.
Our team includes Certified Nurse Midwives Audra DeGroot and Kari Ney, who bring years of experience in pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. They are supported by a skilled group of registered nurses and medical assistants who work together to ensure you and your family feel informed, supported, and cared for every step of the way. PRENATAL CARE
Our Midwives educate each woman to empower her during labor and delivery. Research indicates the woman-centered model of care offered by Midwives can reduce the incidence of birth trauma/injury and cesarean section. Midwives are trained to identify if obstetrical attention is needed and can make appropriate referrals.
Do you like the idea of midwife care, but prefer to deliver at a hospital? We will help manage your care from early pregnancy until approximately 35 weeks, at which time we will coordinate continued care with a provider at the facility where you desire to deliver your baby.
Promise CHC provides affordable women’s health care through the opportunity to apply for sliding-fee discounts. For more information on the sliding-fee discount click here.
