HEALTHY HEROES 5K // 2K RACE // 1 MILE FAMILY FUN WALK!

Join us for the 4th annual Healthy Heroes event! This is a fun and exciting event for the entire family!
The day starts at 8:30am with a kid friendly 5K on the beautiful bike trail winding through the colorful Dordt Prairie.
The kid friendly 2K race starts at 9:15am, feel free to run with your kiddos or cheer them on from the sidelines! 2K is approx 1.24 miles! The 2K is also on the Sioux Center trail and will cross the road by Dordt. There will be crossing monitors to stop traffic and keep the race safe! ALL participants in this race will get a medal and special medals will go to the top three runners! Click the button below to sign up your kiddos!
At 10:15am the energetic and dynamic Physical Therapy Department from Sioux Center Health will lead us through super hero warm-ups and exercises that are sure to get you laughing and having fun!
If the 5K seems daunting join us for a 1 mile walk/ jog with fun “hands free” activities and obstacles along a quiet, welcoming Sioux Center neighborhood. For this walk dogs are welcome, strollers are welcome and walk/joggers are welcome as well! Click the button below to sign up your family!
Throughout the morning visit the booths at the health fair with interactive learning and opportunities for prizes! We are excited for booths that will teach your kiddos about the 5-2-1-0 program. 5 veggies and fruits a day, 2 hours or less on technology, 1 hour of exercising per day and 0 sugary drinks!
