Megan and Cody received their prenatal care for Miss Rhodes Kalo from Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg, part of the home birth team from Promise. Promise Community Health Center Prenatal/OB team includes three certified nurse midwives, Audra De Groot, Kari Ney, and Jeannette Hasley, registered nurses, medical assistants, and interpreters.
The Schniders opened their home for Rhodes’s home birth in Sheldon, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Miss Rhodes during the birth at their home.
Rhodes was welcomed into the family by big sister Nona (1).

Patients must be located within 60 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
