Kelly and Kurt received their prenatal care for Miss Elida from Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Lassen at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Franje family opened their home for Elida’s home birth in Rock Valley, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Erica Robertson helped deliver Miss Elida during the birth at their home.
Elida was welcomed into the family by big sisters, Matea (4) and Jada (2).

Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
