Miss Violet was welcomed into the world at home, by parents BJ and Lisa Kruse. Violet had a safe and empowering home birth experience in George, Iowa under the care of experienced Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg.

BJ and Lisa chose to receive their prenatal care from Promise Community Health Center, a trusted provider of home birth services in Sioux Center, Iowa. Promise’s team of three certified nurse midwives – Audra De Groot, Kari Ney, and Jeannette Hasley – along with registered nurses, medical assistants, and interpreters, provided exceptional care and support throughout Violets’s journey into the world.
The home birth took place in the Kruse’s welcoming home, with Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg providing expert guidance and assistance. Miss Violet was born into a nurturing environment surrounded by her loved ones.
Miss Violet is also welcomed by big brothers Cayden (6), Leo (4), and Miles (2).
At BJ and Lisa’s home birth, the focus was on empowering the family and providing a safe, supportive environment for the baby’s arrival. Congratulations to the Kruse family on this beautiful home birth experience!
