Eloise is the daughter of Hilary and Ephron Poyer. The Poyer’s had a home birth in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Hilary and Ephron received their prenatal care for Eloise from Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Beth Marsh, part of the home birth team from Promise. Promise Community Health Center Prenatal/OB team includes three certified nurse midwives, Audra De Groot, Kari Ney, and Jeannette Hasley, registered nurses, medical assistants, and interpreters.
The Poyer’s opened their home for Eloise’s home birth in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Beth Marsh helped deliver Eloise during the birth at their home.
Eloise was welcomed into the family by big sisters Savannah (4) and Francesca (2).

Our Iowa Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 60 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
