WELCOME MISS ADELINE – Celebrating a home birth in Aurelia, Iowa!
Miss Adeline was welcomed into the world at home by her parents Amy and Bill. Amy and Bill had a safe and empowering home birth experience in Aurelia, Iowa, under the care of experienced Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg.

Amy and Bill chose to receive prenatal care from Promise Community Health Center, a trusted provider of home birth services in Sioux Center, Iowa. Promise’s team of two certified nurse midwives – Audra De Groot and Kari Ney – along with registered nurses and medical assistants provided exceptional care throughout Adeline’s journey into the world.
The home birth took place in Amy and Bill’s welcoming home, with Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg providing expert guidance and assistance. Miss Adeline was born into a nurturing environment surrounded by her loved ones.
Baby Adeline is also welcomed by big sisters Catherine (9), Elena (6), and big brothers William (4), and Patrick (2).
At Adeline’s home birth, the focus was on empowering the family and providing a safe, supportive environment for her arrival. Congratulations to Amy and Bill on this beautiful home birth experience!

This was Amy and Bill’s second home birth and they said it went just as well as the first one! They felt Kari Ney and Kris Tinklenberg did a wonderful job caring for Amy and then baby Adeline after she was born.
