Promise Community Health Center is excited to announce a new event for Latina women in our community – Conexión Poderosa! We invite you to join us and help spread the word for this opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together.
This group will be held on Saturday, August 3, 10, 17, and 24, with each session running from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Promise Community Health Center. There will be breakfast at each meeting, and we will also provide childcare, making it easier for mothers to attend. Participants can choose to sign up for one, two, or all four sessions!
Our goal is to create a supportive environment where Latina women can come together, get to know each other, and learn about important topics. The sessions will cover several important topics and will be facilitated by Promise staff and interpreters.
Topics covered:
– Making Adult Connections: Importance of friendship and connecting with other women
– Learning More About Finances: Navigating health insurance, community resources, and more
– Feeding Your Family: Resources and tips on grocery shopping and meals
– Celebrating Yourself: Importance of self-care as a woman
We encourage all interested women to sign up for this group. The deadline to sign up is July 31st.
