Alexander and Elianne received their prenatal care for Mr. Jefta Albert from Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Erica Robertson, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Hofmans opened their home for Jefta’s home birth in Sioux Center, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Erica Robertson helped deliver Mr. Jefta Albert during the birth at their home.
Jefta was welcomed into the family by big brother, Boaz (16mo).

Alexander and Elianne say that during their prenatal checkups everyone was caring and provided helpful information. They felt like they could ask any and every question they had. Elianne was grateful for how quickly Kari Ney responded to her text messages!

Our Iowa Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 60 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
