Promise Community Health Center receives $75,000 Telligen Community Initiative Grant for our growing Mental Health Program!
These funds will support the project titled, Skilled and Inclusive Therapist Workforce in Sioux County, which will implement strategies that strengthen the therapist workforce in Sioux County and address mental health challenges related to our community needs and provider shortages.
The project will focus on supporting therapists in their work and training, reaching more patients in need of mental health services, and providing trauma-informed care. This aligns with Promise’s mission to provide accessible, holistic health care that adapts to the needs of the community to improve the well-being of all persons.
This grant funding is an amazing support for Promise’s growing Mental Health program. We are committed to providing mental health care access in Northwest Iowa and supporting a growing therapist workforce.– Amy McApline, Chief Operating Officer
