Great news for the patients of Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa! Promise is thrilled to announce the renewal of its grant from Vitamin Angels, which will provide prenatal vitamins to its patients at no cost. This grant has been supporting Promise’s efforts for several years, starting in 2016, and the continued support from Vitamin Angels will allow Promise to keep providing essential prenatal care to its patients!
Vitamins and minerals are very important for prenatal development, as many women do not get enough nutrients from food alone. Prenatal vitamins are an excellent way to boost fetal development and improve health. The sooner a pregnant woman begins taking prenatal vitamins, the greater impact they will have on both her health and the health of her child. Promise is thrilled to be able to provide these vitamins to our patients!
Vitamin Angels provides grants of vitamins and supplementary materials to local healthcare providers around the world. Vitamin Angels seeks to support positive birth outcomes by providing for underserved communities.
Promise Midwifery Team
Promise Community Health Center is the only facility in the northwest Iowa area that offers the opportunity to have an assisted birth in your home with Certified Nurse Midwives. Our Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.

Your plan may include scheduling an appointment with our Promise midwife providers for prenatal care or fertility counseling.
