Derrick and Kaylee received their prenatal care for Miss Iris Pearl from Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Kolar family opened their home for Iris’s home birth in Le Mars, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Miss Iris during the birth at their home.
Iris was welcomed into the family by big sister Kenna (15) and big brother Daxson (4).

Patients must be located within 60 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
