Jen and Ryan received their prenatal care for Miss Leah from Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Lassen at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg, part of the home birth team from Promise.
The Zomer family opened their home for Leah’s home birth in Orange City, Iowa. Certified Nurse Midwife Belinda Lassen and OB Nurse Kris Tinklenberg helped deliver Miss Leah Grace during the birth at their home.
Leah was welcomed into the family by big brothers, Dalton (11) and Isaac (6) and big sister, Tyra (10).

Words cannot express how grateful the Zomer family is to have received such amazing care in the comfort of their home. Through the assistance of their midwife and OB nurse, Jen was able to experience her natural birth plan! The education provided post delivery was exceptional! the Zomers felt at ease and had every question answered!
