Promise Community Health Center would like to welcome a new Optometrist, Dr. Aric Waltz!
Dr. Aric Waltz, his wife Lauren, and their two boys have moved back to the northwest Iowa area from St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Aric graduated from the University of Missouri- St. Louis College of Optometry and worked for one year in St. Louis before returning back to Sioux Center.
Dr. Aric’s wife Lauren, works at Hartley Melvin Sanborn as a 3rd grade teacher. Their two boys Mason (3) and Bowen (1) keep them busy!
The Waltz family is very excited to serve the community that’s given their family so much and they are excited to meet new faces! Dr. Waltz is especially excited to work at Promise to help an underserved population.
Dr. Aric enjoys sports, especially football. His favorite teams are the Minnesota Vikings and Northwestern College Red Raiders (where he played). He enjoys spending time with his family. And he also enjoys scuba diving whenever he has the time.
At Promise Dr. Aric will work Monday and Thursday afternoons from 1pm to 5pm seeing patients for different vision needs. Promise Community Health Center Vision Team includes two Optometrists from the Sioux Center area, Dr. Dan Clousing and Dr. Aric Waltz. Another member of our Vision Team, Fatima Arteaga assists and interprets.
