Promise Community Health Center is excited to celebrate a wonderful professional achievement for our team member, Bibiana Lopez, who recently earned her certification from the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters. This accomplishment is a significant milestone that highlights Bibiana’s dedication to her role and her commitment to providing the highest quality care to our patients.
Earning this national certification is a rigorous process that demonstrates a fluent understanding of complex medical terminology and the specialized skills required to interpret accurately in a healthcare setting. At Promise, we are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare, and we believe that this includes patients being able to communicate in the language they are most comfortable with. For Bibiana, pursuing this credential was driven by a desire to grow her skills and ensure that every patient she assists receives the most accurate and compassionate support possible.
Bibiana shared that this achievement has given her a new level of professional confidence, which helps her better facilitate communication between our providers, nurses, and patients. She is eager to put her advanced training into practice, bridging the gap so our patients can navigate their health journeys with clarity and ease. Her passion for excellence directly supports our mission of making healthcare truly accessible and welcoming for everyone in our community.
Bibiana is incredibly grateful for the support she received along the way. She extends a special thank you to Michelle Van Beek and Ruth Hernandez for believing in her and pushing her to reach this goal. She is also thankful to Emily Lienen for providing the necessary tools to help study for the exam, and to coworkers, friends, and family for their words of encouragement throughout the certification process.
We are so proud of Bibiana’s hard work and the heart she puts into her work every day. Please join us in congratulating Bibiana on her professional success!
