Sioux County Rolls Out ROTH ID TAG™ Kits at Local Healthcare Partners
Sioux County healthcare providers and emergency responders are excited to introduce the ROTH ID TAG™—the first universal emergency contact ID system. Available free through Community Health Partners, families can receive help installing the tags on infant and child car seats.

Developed in response to the tragic December 23, 2022, Ohio Turnpike accident, ROTH ID TAG™ offers peace of mind by securely attaching to the back of car seats. These durable, reflective tags contain essential information to help first responders quickly identify children and reach their emergency contacts. In an emergency, the tag transforms into a wristband, displaying vital contact and medical details.
Sioux County’s healthcare organizations, in partnership with the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, have embraced this program as a key part of local emergency preparedness—enhancing public safety and increasing first responder efficiency.
How it works: Parents fill out emergency contact details, register online at RothIDTag.com (optional), peel and stick the durable tag to the car seat, and apply the matching signal tag. In emergencies, first responders remove the wristband to immediately access key information swiftly.

ROTH ID tags are also offered at Hawarden Regional Healthcare, Hegg Health Center, Orange City Area Health System, Promise Community Health Center, and Sioux Center Health during well-child visits, car seat events, or after the birth of a child.
