Eric and Sarah received their prenatal care for Jayne from Certified Nurse Midwives Belinda Lassen and Kari Ney at Promise Community Health Center in Sioux Center, Iowa, and OB Nurses Erica Robertson and Vicki Schrock, part of the home birth team from Promise.
Eric and Sarah opened their home for Jayne’s home birth in Inwood. Certified Nurse Midwife Kari Ney and OB Nurse Vicki Schrock helped deliver Jayne during the birth at their home.
Jayne was welcomed into the family by big brother Oliver (10) and Bella (3).

Our Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.
