Promise Midwifery Team
Promise Community Health Center is the only facility in the northwest Iowa area that offers the opportunity to have an assisted birth in your home with Certified Nurse Midwives. Our Midwives are highly trained and have over 40+ years of combined birthing experience. What do you want your birth experience to look like? Our providers take the time to respectfully explore that question. Patients must be located within 75 miles of Sioux Center, have a low-risk pregnancy, no history of cesarean section and no major medical history.

Think you might be pregnant? Promise offers free and confidential pregnancy testing. We want to help you start your pregnancy care in the healthiest way for you and baby. Results are available immediately and we can help you from there.
Call Promise to schedule an appointment for free pregnancy testing and meet with a Promise Nurse for next steps. Your plan may include scheduling an appointment with our Promise midwife providers for prenatal care or fertility counseling. If you don’t wish to become pregnant right now, your plan can include scheduling an appointment with our providers for birth control options.
